Abdulla Ameen has tendered his resignation to President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, and will relinquish his duties as the Maldives' Minister of Health.
Mohamed Aslam, the Minister of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, will continue his duties as the acting Minister of Health, a position to which he was appointed by the President on August 18 this year.
