President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on Sunday evening, attended the opening ceremony of "Unveiling Visions 2021," an art exhibition organised by the Maldivian Artist Community and the National Center for the Arts (NCA). The exhibition would be open until December 14.

During the visit to the National Art Gallery, President Solih toured and viewed some of the paintings and artworks on display. He also presented awards to the five winners in the "Most Vibrant Artists" category of a competition held as part of the exhibition. The Maldivian Artist Community presented the President with a painting during the event.

At the function, Yumna Maumoon, the Minister of Arts, Culture, and Heritage, inaugurated the "Virtual Gallery" of the National Art Gallery.

The Maldives Contemporary Art Exhibition, "Unveiling Visions 2021," featuring the artworks of 67 artists, is the largest art exhibition held this year in the Maldives. The exhibition aims to bring together brilliant artists from throughout the country to present their work and gain visibility.
