The Special Awards Committee at the President’s Office announced on Sunday that the Special Medal for Memorising the Holy Quran and the President’s Award for Special Achievement would be presented this year at the official function to mark Republic Day.
The function to commemorate Republic Day will be held on November 10, 2022, at 8:30 p.m. in Dharubaaruge. The committee also announced that the National Award for Public Service would be presented at a function held in December 2022.
