As part of his visit to Malaysia to attend the 6th World Islamic Economic Forum, President Mohamed Nasheed today visited Maldives High Commission in Malaysia.
Meeting the staff of the High Commission, the President urged them to set an example for all Maldivians living in Malaysia, and said their work should reflect the close relations that exist between the Maldives and Malaysia.
The President also said the Maldives High Commission staff should actively participate in Malaysian cultural events.
During the meeting the High Commission staff spoke on the difficulties they faced.
The President also thanked the staff and High Commissioner Zaki for the excellent arrangments they have made for the President’s visit.
