Vice President Faisal Naseem has this evening concluded his two-day trip to North Thiladhunmathi and South Thiladhunmathi Atolls and returned to Malé City.
The Vice President’s first stop of the tour was Hoarafushi Island in North Thiladhunmathi Atoll, where he inaugurated the road development project and attended the Hoarafushi Airport’s anniversary celebration ceremony. He also visited institutions and meet with key stakeholders of the island.
Today, on the second day of the trip, the Vice President visited three islands of South Thiladhunmathi Atoll. He first visited Nellaidhoo Island where met with key stakeholders and toured the island's health center and school.
Next, this afternoon, Vice President Faisal Naseem visited Vaikaradhoo Island and inaugurated the Island’s outdoor gym. He also toured Vaikaradhoo Island Health Centre and School. Moreover, the Vice President met with members of the Island Council and Women's Development Committee, as well as representatives from key local institutions. Lastly, the Vice President proceeded to Kulhudhuffushi City where he officially inaugurated "Ufanveni" at the Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital.
Throughout the trip, the Vice President visited various institutions and met with key stakeholders on each island. He was accompanied on the trip by a delegation of officials from the government.
