New Ambassador of Ghana accredited to the Maldives, Robert Tachie-Menson has presented his Letter of Credence to President Mohamed Nasheed today.
At the ceremony held at the President’s Office, President Nasheed congratulated Ambassador Tachie-Mension.
The President and the Ambassador discussed ways of further strengthening the relations between the Maldives and Ghana, highlighting the areas of business engagements, expanding the development of renewable energy resources and promoting the tourism industry of the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Vice President Dr Mohamed Waheed, Special Envoy of the President Ibrahim Hussain Zaki, National Security Advisor Ameen Faisal, Foreign Policy Advisor Dr Ahmed Shaheed, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Naseem and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Aslam Mohamed Shakir.
